Busta revealed to Hot 97 that despite his departure from Aftermath, he is still in good standing with Dr. Dre. The rapper also revealed that his upcoming album will be titled B.O.M.B.

"The name of the album is called B.O.M.B. December 9th. Flipmode. Universal Motown. And B.O.M.B. is the acronym for Back On My Bullsh*t," Busta said.

Andre 3000 Plots Comeback, Solo Release On The Way

OutKast’s Andre 3000 has officially revealed plans to release his upcoming solo debut by as early as this year. According to Rolling Stone, the ATLien will be returning to store shelves with his first album without group member Big Boi. Rather than giving an exact date, Andre hinted at when he expects to release the currently untitled project...

“It should be dropping by the end of this year or early next year,” he told Rolling Stone. “I’ve pretty much been working by myself.”

Despite adding lyricism and popularizing singles from artists like John Legend, Fonzworth Bentley, Rich Boy, DJ Unk and UGK, Andre has decided to cut down his guest appearances for his own album.

“I’ve never really been that big on collaboration," he said. "I have a concept, and all the soundscapes are already in my head, so I just have to figure out how to get there. I’ve learned that I’m most powerful when I’m doing my art.”

Aside from hip-hop, Andre makes his return to the big screen in tomorrow’s debut film, Battle In Seattle. Co-starring Woody Harrelson, the film has the rapper-turned-actor playing an activist during 1999’s World Trade Organization summit.

Eminem 'Banging Out Tracks' For New Album

After years away from the limelight, Eminem may be releasing a new album this year.

The MC admitted he's been producing for his Shady Records artists and himself during a recent appearance on his Sirius satellite radio station, Shade 45, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Delicious Vinyl Records. Eminem also interviewed MC Masta Ace, who he's long noted as an influence...

"I'm concentrating on my own stuff right now -just banging out tracks," Eminem said. "The more I keep producing, the better it seems I get. I start knowing stuff, learning the boards like the back of my hands."

A representative for Interscope says there is no official release date nor a first single, but confirms that an album may come before the year's end. Eminem's last effort, "Encore," was released in 2004.

In addition, 50 Cent spoke to BBC's Radio 1 this week and said fans will be "seeing [Eminem] shortly. He's working. I spent the weekend at his house. Even though he tries to relax and stay home, it's impossible for him to stay in."
