World of RnB and HipHop Music: San Diego's YOUNG MASS Prepares To Release His Debut Album

Young Mass, the youngest member of hip-hop's legendary platinum selling group, Digital Underground, has leaked a new track from his upcoming self-titled debut album to be released on March 18th via his own Massterpiece Entertainment. The track, entitled "Blue Skyy", is the first glimpse into Mass' long awaited debut following a string of well received projects with Digital Underground including, Shock G's solo album "Fear Of A Mixed Planet" and Money B's "Mandatory Volume 1" mixtape. Now, the San Diego based MC is ready to put his city on the hip-hop map and give fans what they have been hungry for - the debut album from one of the most inspiring rappers on the scene...

After five years in the making, Young Mass' self-titled debut album is near completion and is sure to rejuvenate the blood flow of hip hop fans. While touring with Digital Underground, Mass had also focused his attention on the writing and production of his album. "Blue Skyy", which premiered yesterday on www.myspace.com/mass2020, is the first release from the debut album to go public. The track is an instant representation of Mass' unique approach to his craft.

When Shock G first heard the smooth/upbeat single, "Blue Skyy", his reaction was unequivocal with it's "relentlessly a banga". Shock G and Money B, also of Digital Underground, subsequently added veteran flavor to the track. In addition, licks from the guitar of Bay Area R&B/Blues legend Eric "Kenya Gruv" Baker (New Edition/Joss Stone) makes the track a force to be dealt with.
