Today, LA Times reporter Chuck Philips released a story on the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur - a shooting that did not kill the rapper but was the start of the notorious East Coast / West Coast rap war. In the article, Philips sources claim that P. Diddy and Notorious BIG was informed that Tupac was going to be shot. The full article is acaliable on latimes.com/tupac. Today, P. Diddy released a statement in response of the article:This story is beyond ridiculous and is completely false. Neither Biggie nor I had any knowledge of any attack before, during, or after it happened. It is a complete lie to suggest that there was any involvement by Biggie or myself. I am shocked that the Los Angeles Times would be so irresponsible as to publish such a baseless and completely untrue story.
